Familiarization visit of the representative of "Russian Geographical Society» in Tajikistan
From 3 to 5 July 2013 the famous traveler, photographer and journalist Vlad Minin, visited Tajikistan. He arrived to the country within the framework of the international project "10,000 miles" of Russian Geographical Society. Vlad Minin traveled to countries of the region on his off roadster "Toyota DEVOLRO", custom made specifically for this project. Tajikistan became the fifth in a row on the post-Soviet republics of the traveler's route after Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Uzbekistan. From our country, Vlad Minin went to Kyrgyzstan and will finish his journey in Kazakhstan. Necessary to mention that following the results of his journey, he will create a film on the tourism potential of our countries and will be broadcasted in Russian Mass Media.
Vlad Minin spoke about his brightest impressions of acquaintance with Tajikistan, in particular noting: "Tajikistan has a rich tourism potential, a unique ecosystem, nature and of course, the amazing people, successful and ambitious young people. We have visited to a summer camp for future geologists in Varzob district. These are a stunning young people who are ahead of a lot of achievements and I am sure, interesting discoveries in science. «The real progress is possible only in the symbiosis of science and culture ", - he said.
